A great experience! Food was amazing. The meatball and ricotta appetizer was delicious. The ricotta was so light and smooth. The entrees were well priced and good portion size. The garlic bread was to die for. This will be a regular stop now for sure. Great family place with great food and staff. ~Keith D., Pompano Beach, Fl

I got the lasagna. EXCELLENT!!! Tasted just like my mom’s.  ~Mark S. Deerfield Beach, Fl

In the last four years of vacationing here we always eat here at least once during our stay. Service and food is always exceptional. Never had a bad meal and they have a great menu. It’s nice to go out to dinner and not be disappointed. I must say Irena, our waitress, was friendly, efficient and professional. ~George S. Darien, IL

Excellent dinner with my family of 11. Appetizers (bruschetta, calamari, moz sticks and mussels) were exceptional! Chicken linguini outstanding!! Pizzas are very good and enjoyed by my teenagers. My seafood linguini in marinara sauce was good but I should have gotten it with the more spicy sauce that the mussels come in. Our waiter (butch) was attentive and simply outstanding. A GREAT choice for our family and I’m sure a great choice for couples as well!! ~Dean H. Glen Ellyn, IL

This place is so cute! Upstairs and downstairs, with live music upstairs if you’re feeling saucy, and quiet downstairs if you want a romantic evening with your significant other. The food is always fantastic and served in great portions. I will definitely be coming here again with my boyfriend since its one of his favorite places. ~Andrea S. Hollywood, FL

Our Family ate dinner at Nicks and the place couldn’t have been any more than perfect. The food was delicious and the service very good. I had the penne a la vodka served al dente and the sauce perfectly seasoned. Everything was just right! Dessert was also great, the Tiramisu was fresh and delicious. I can recommend this restaurant with no hesitations! ~Eddie S. Boca Raton

What a great place!!! The food was really good. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good prices. The penne alla vodka with sausage was soooooo good. Muscles scampi was super tasty. Must try. ~Dahlia D. Boca Raton, FL

Originally, my boyfriend didn’t want to come here. But, at the end of the night, he was thanking me! When you walk through the door, you feel like you’re in Italy. Nick’s is a 2-story building, and upstairs is the supper club where they have live entertainment on the weekends. The food was awesome! They had my favorite kind of pizza – no marinara sauce – and it’s called “Nick’s Thin Special Pizza,” with all my favorite ingredients: olive oil, provolone, mozzarella, diced tomatoes, garlic, and basil. My boyfriend got his favorite Italian dish which is linguine with a white clam sauce, and wouldn’t even give me one bite. So glad we finally had the time to discover Nick’s Restaurant! ~Mary H. Boca Raton, Fl

I’ve been coming to this place since the mid 70’s. Never have I had a bad experience. The food, service and atmosphere is always great. The food portions are always overflowing. I’m just a local who’s on a budget (like most people are these days), who appreciates great food, and I never hesitate to recommend Nick’s Italian Restaurant to family or friends wanting a great meal or, a great meal with entertainment. By the way, you can dress as casual or as fancy as you wish. AND, you never know who (celebrity wise) will be dining with you! And believe me … they do go there! ~NetSense O, Pompano Beach, FL

Old school place with a 50’s 60’s kind of feel to it. Good food, deserts were wonderful too! Upstairs they have live music and dancing if you like to tango or cha cha… I don’t know how to cha cha, but it was fun watching. Nice staff. Been there twice during our visit and enjoyed it. ~Roberta P

It doesn’t get any better than this! The title says it all. The food is superb, the atmosphere is perfect, great music and dancing. If she wasn’t in love with you when you arrived here, she will be by the time you leave. Who could ask for anything more? What a great evening it was! Thanks to the staff and the band for making everything just right. ~Boston Bob

This is the best italian restaurant you will find! The quality of the food is exceptional. I have been dining there for years; even when they had a location in Naples. Dress can be very casual to dressy; you decide. It can be a romantic setting or simply take the kids. They have excellent entertainment upstairs in the lounge where you can simply enjoy the music or dance the night away. Great place to meet new friends who are not wanting the typical bar scene. Back to the food; so many great dishes, but my favorite would be the Nick’s Egg Roll for starters. It is very hard to decide on main course, can’t go wrong on anything. The pizza is wonderful, and great to take home for late night on the beach! Ask for the manager and let him know what you think. He is great, and let him know his favorite customer from IN said, “hi”. ~Jane R., IN

Nick’s is always on my itinerary. I travel to FTL on business a lot and I always go to Nick’s. Portions are huge and the pasta is great. The pizza is also very good. My favorites are the Nick’s Italian Egg Roll, and Nick’s Totellini (tri-color tortellini, chicken breast and onions in a garlic cream sauce). It isn’t open for lunch, but it is open nightly until 10 or 11p with delivery! ~RangerFan at Citysearch

Best Italian! I am very picky when it comes to Italian food and Nick’s Italian Restaurants has the dishes to please my very picky palate.  ~Ekbuckius at Citysearch

Great, Relaxed Meal! We found this restaurant by chance but really glad we did. The service was friendly and impeccable, not too in your face either. Upstairs they had live music, downstairs its the the restaurant. It very american/italian, almost diner like. But it was really chilled. The meal for 2 adults, 2 children (full portions) and beer came to $55. We had lasagne, aubergine bake, macc and cheese and steak. Plenty of vegetarian choice. ~Emzalive., Cambridge, UK

If you love Italian food, this is the place to go! From the moment you walk in the door the aroma of garlic, tomato sauce and bread greet you. The food is served in generous proportions and the prices are very reasonable. Four of us ate dinner there, two of us had a glass of wine, one had a beer with his meal and the total was under $100.00. ~Prism123, Burton, Michigan

Fabulous! I was staying at a nearby hotel and used my “around me” app, this place was on the list. I was craving something that didn’t have a drive thru attached to it. All the local reviews were good so I took a chance- I am glad I did. This had some of the best Italian food in the USA! My husband who is Italian was duly impressed. It is a hot spot for entertainment also (upstairs) If you get a chance to dine here – do it you will not be disappointed. ~Dragowin. Seattle, WA

Great italian friendly service! We went to eat on Monday evening. The food was great. It was enough food for two meals. We loved it so much we went back again Saturday night. Reasonably priced … I highly recommend this place. ~TeenVacation, Cleveland, OH

Have been here twice in one week! If you like pasta and seafood, I recommend you the Nick’s Pescatore. It’s linguini pasta with fresh seafood ( scallop, shrimp, mussel,…), very tasty ! ~Mons, Belgium

Really homey authentic Italian! You can tell this place is an establishment that’s been around a long time. We both had salad (garden) and it was just fine. It’s hard to find mixed green salad in US – everyone uses romaine and iceberg and calls it mixed greens, lol. I had angel hair pasta with pesto cream and peas and it was exceptionally well done. Pasta was cooked perfect. My other half had sausage and peppers. Had a nice amount of heat but not killer. Had their house wine and it enhanced our meals nicely. Good and efficient service. Nothing to complain about and overall, we really enjoyed it.. highly recommended. ~TheRidge1, Toronto

Very good pizza! We did carry out – very convenient location – good pizza (crust is crunchy and toppings very fresh) – both kids and grown ups were happy – will go back! ~NC-FL Girl

Great folks and great food! This is a lovely restaurant with a real Italian flair. The waiters enjoy chatting with the guests. The food is fantastic and really well-priced. Good food, good service and great atmosphere. We loved it! ~Roger2105 Ottawa, Canada

Great pizza! Great food, very friendly waiter, easy walk from my motel. I had the white pizza which was delicious. And it was a very good value. ~Laura B, NewMArket, Maryland

Really loved our first visit at Nick’s Italian. We have been driving right past Nick’s for years, and this time made it a point to have dinner there because of comments on Trip Advisior. We were glad we did. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the service was prompt and friendly. We will be back. ~Master of the Blaze, Saginaw, Michigan

Good food great prices. Just returned from Fort Lauderdale. We stayed at the Pelican Grand Hotel. While at the hotel another guest recommended we try Nick’s for dinner. Great food good prices. Next time we go back to FL it will be our first meal. ~Donna G., Hartford, Connecticut

Great place, great food! On weekends there is Live Entertainment too. Staff was friendly, atmosphere family friendly and food was delicious. ~TamaraT137 NY,NY

Nice. Fairly priced. Casual meal. To have a reasonably priced meal in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area is rare. Had somewhat large group. Service was good, the waitress was always around. Food was really good, Mussels were above average, garlic bread (everything) was well above average. Wine was reasonably priced. (Bottles ranging from $23 to $75 which is really cheap.) Chicken parm was done nicely and nice sized portions. The chicken Marsala was very good as well the sauce. Very flavorful. I sampled some of everyone’s dish. I had the sausage and peppers pasta. The marinara sauce was good and so was the sausage, even the pasta was done al dente. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We had some good wine in a causal environment left full at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back. ~JJ Lombard, IL
